Description
On the Wine Routes, this 118-kilometer enotourist circuit will take you between vineyards, rivers and medieval sites ... Venture into the grape varieties of Melon de Bourgogne or Folle Blanche, to taste Muscadet, the region's flagship wine. And it is in Nantes that is given the point of departure and arrival of this loop. For a day or two, head south to admire bucolic landscapes, between the banks of Sèvre Nantaise and vineyards. In summer, many activities are offered throughout the loop. In Vertou, the Chaussée des Moines invites to a stroll along the Sèvre Nantes. Peckish ? On the circuit, further south, the port of La Haye-Fouassière is the ideal picnic area for lunch. Summer (Sunday), a food truck will offer you local specialties. We have the mouth water! After lunch, take a seat at the little café on the terrace in Clisson, a medieval town that will make you travel to Tuscany ... On the way back, it's time to enjoy Muscadet in one of the wine estates on the road. It is at Butte de la Roche, further north, that you can admire a beautiful panorama of the vineyards, marshes and Château de Goulaine. This ancient castle deserves attention. While the parents visit the site, the children will benefit from the LU Museum to participate in workshops-games (puzzle, memory or creation ...) and can become worthy knights or beautiful princesses in costumes.
