A wild and unspoilt nature on the edge of the river Maine
Description
This is the first sound of water and the freshness of the hill that rises greet the visitor. Then a small steep path takes us through the woods, crosses the heart of the broom on the heights of the hill where the river runs. Rather quiet and unobtrusive summer happily drives the current spring, revealing here and there rocks floating in the middle of the river. Further, the horizon changes: last chance to catch the flight of herons before leaving the river and join paths amidst vineyards. Follow the guide out: the car park, cross the village and continue straight through the grassy path to Maine. Opportunity to follow the path to the right at the top of the hills or along the left bank of the river on a small winding road (sports climbing to reach the path above). Out of the undergrowth and follow the straight path along the fields. At the first house, take the left path and follow it to the left to reach the river and follow it to the mill of the old lock (opposite bank). A crow's feet, go up the right path and follow it up right onto the Chambaudière. In the village, follow the small road to the left and follow it for about 600 m. Turn right in the vineyard and follow the path until Pégerie. Continue straight through a grassy track to the village Bernard, then follow the path to reach the starting point.
